Beginning Sunday, June 4, between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Gordon Drive will be closed from Harvey Avenue to north of Bernard Avenue for road paving.
A detour will be in place.
Due to weather, the previous schedule for resurfacing had to be revised and final paving of Gordon Drive will be completed this weekend.
This project is one of several road segments that are included in the City’s annual Pavement Management Program which prioritizes the repair of city roads. The mill and fill treatment applied on this section of Gordon Drive will extend the road surface life by 15 to 20 years.
The City of Kelowna and workers on site appreciate the patience of residents, businesses and motorists while road work is underway.
