WARNING: Some of this footage could be disturbing to watch
This is pretty unbelievable. Apparently what happened was United sold out the flight then needed to move some flight crew to the next stop so they asked for volunteers to get off the plane, get $800 and take a flight the next day. No one volunteered so they picked people at random. They picked this guy and he refused saying he was a doctor who needed to see patients the next day….So they forced his removal.
The story continues, he got away from security once off the plane then re-boarded. He was described as disoriented.

I assume he was once again collected, hopefully not as physically distressing as the first time, because I read reports he was taken to hospital on a stretcher after this.

I think it’s time we all looked up the laws and our rights as paying passengers on flights -Danny
